Description of Service
ChequeIQ provides a cloud-based cheque management platform that enables businesses to:
• Track and manage cheques throughout their lifecycle
• Record bank transactions and reconcile accounts
• Generate reports and analytics
• Integrate with accounting software
• Access AI-powered insights and recommendations
The service is provided "as is" and we reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.
User Accounts
To access our services, you must create an account. You are responsible for:
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Providing accurate and complete information
We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
• Use the service for any illegal purpose
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Transmit malicious code or attempt to compromise security
• Interfere with other users' access to the service
• Resell or redistribute the service without authorization

Data Ownership

Payment Terms
For paid plans:
• Fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
• All fees are non-refundable except as required by law
• We may change pricing with 30 days notice
• Failure to pay may result in service suspension
• You are responsible for applicable taxes
Intellectual Property
The ChequeIQ platform, including its design, features, and content, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of our service without written permission.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChequeIQ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the service.
Our total liability for any claims related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ChequeIQ and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.
Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination:
• Your access to the service will be revoked
• You may export your data within 30 days
• We will delete your data after the retention period
• Provisions that should survive will remain in effect
Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of San Francisco County, California.
Changes to Terms
We may modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the service. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
